What Is the Minimum Trade Duration for Funded and Evaluation Accounts?
At Gold Edge Capital, we value thoughtful, professional trade execution. To ensure that trades reflect genuine market decisions — rather than high-frequency or exploitative behavior — a minimum trade duration applies to all accounts.
Trade Duration Rules
• For both evaluation and funded accounts, each trade must be held for a minimum of 5 minutes.
• For a trading day to count as valid, at least one position must remain open for 5 minutes or longer.
This policy encourages traders to operate with precision, patience, and proper risk management, aligning with the standards of real institutional trading environments.
