Understanding the Maximum Daily Loss Rule At Gold Edge Capital, the maximum daily loss is set at 4% of your account’s highest balance or equity, whichever is greater, calculated daily at +3 GMT.
This rule is designed to ensure proper risk control and to prevent excessive exposure within a single trading day.
Example
If your account balance is $100,000, your maximum daily loss limit is $4,000.
This means your equity — including open trades — must never fall below $96,000 at any time during the trading day.
Violating this rule will result in an immediate breach and termination of the active evaluation or funded account.
